November & December @ St. Peter's

November is proving to be a busy time at St Peter's. We've already hosted a couple of meetings and held the Ipswich Hospital Band's annual Festival of Remembrance, which for the third year running was a sell out!

We're not finished yet though, we've got plenty coming up for the rest of November and December...

First we have Jazz by the Waterfront on Friday 18th November 2011 at 7.45pm. This was originally scheduled for the 4th November but due to the popular demand of our act the Matt Hodges Quartet, we had to reschedule as they went over the pond to New York for a performance!

Jazz by the Waterfront is going to be a series of jazz evenings over the next few months, with another night featuring the Body and Soul Jazz Band in January 2012 and hopefully Zoe Gilby and her backing group in March 2012.

Tickets cost £10 and are available for the 18th November now from St Peter's either by phone on 01473 225269, by email manager@stpetersbythewaterfront.com, via Twitter @stpeters_ips or in person on Wednesdays between 10am and 3.30pm.

Also this month and next you will have extra chances to come into St Peter's...

We will be open on Sunday 20th November between 10am and 4pm while the St Peter's Street Festive Market is on up the road. We will have a craft fair inside the centre and will be offering hot drinks, sausage rolls and mince pies.

We are also opening on Saturday 3rd December and Sunday 4th December between 10am and 4pm, so why not pop down and see us.

Finally the St Peter's Band is holding its annual Christmas Concert on Saturday 3rd December at 7pm. The concert features the Ipswich Hospital Training Band and the Springfield Junior School Choir and will be raising money for the Woolverstone Wish fund, raising money for the refurbishment of the Chemotherapy outpatient clinics and day-unit in the Wolverstone Wing at Ipswich Hospital.

Please help the bands and the choir support this worthy cause by buying a ticket and coming along, they only cost £6!
